Birds of a Feather| Spring Break Discovery Day Camp (3rd-5th grade)
March 9-13 ; 9am-4pm*
Did you know that all birds are Dinosaurs? That’s right! Birds belong to the theropod group of dinosaurs that include Tyrannosaurus rex, Archaeopteryx, and Velociraptor. Join us on a journey as we explore the history of Dinosaurs during the Mesozoic era and observe how they survived and evolved into modern birds after the devastating mass extinction event at the end of the Cretaceous period. We will also examine the many adaptations of birds that call Nebraska home, including the characteristics that give birds the ability to fly. This camp is best suited for ages 9-11.
*Camp programming is from 9am-4pm. You may drop off/pick-up your camper(s) within an hour before and after camp programming occurs.
