This event is no longer on sale.

Thursday March 14

9:00 AM  –  4:00 PM

Science Sleuths-March 14th; 9am-4pm (3rd-5th grade)

For this spring break day camp, campers will get to put their investigation skills to the test. In the morning we will travel back in time and explore clues from ancient animals that are larger than life. Then in the afternoon we will look up and around at the stars, planets, and cosmos that make up our solar system. This camp is best suited for ages 8-11.

Day camps at Morrill Hall are hands-on, minds-on experiences where campers explore natural history topics. Each camp is led by UNSM educators, with potential opportunities to engage with our museum researchers and guest speakers.*

During each camp, participants will participate in a variety of activities, a snack will be provided, and each camper will make items they can take home. Please refer to our FAQ section and Information Packet on the website for more information.

* Researcher and guest participation based on camp topic and researcher availability.

Camp Photography Policy:
The museum may take photos during the camp and activities for purposes of internal and external communications and/or promotions. A photo release statement is included with registration, allowing you to opt in or out of having your child photographed.
