July 14-18, 2024; 9am-4pm daily (6th-8th)

EarthForce is a tool created by the North American Association for Environmental Education that gives young adults the tools and experiences to participate in environmental civic projects in their local communities. Campers get to select the local project on environmental conservation for the week. All participation and decision-making is youth-led with educator facilitation. Campers will also get to met leaders from local environmental organization and go on a field trip at our state capital on Thursday, July 17. This camp is best suited for ages 12-14. 

Day camps at Morrill Hall are hands-on, minds-on experiences where campers explore natural history topics. Each camp is led by UNSM educators, with potential opportunities to engage with our museum researchers and guest speakers.*

During each camp, participants will participate in a variety of activities, a snack will be provided, and each camper will make items they can take home. Please refer to our FAQ section and Information Packet on the website for more information.

Camp Photography Policy:
The museum may take photos during the camp and activities for purposes of internal and external communications and/or promotions. A photo release statement is included with registration, allowing you to opt in or out of having your child photographed. 

Refund Policy:
Camp space is limited and all camp registrations are considered final. Refund or partial refunds will not be issued for any no-shows or missed days. The University of Nebraska State Museum reserves the right to cancel camps due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, in which participants will be notified and full refund will be issued.
